Wilsons international fame was boosted in 2014 after she signed on to play Alison Lockhart. A troubled young woman, Alison Lockhart has a dark history and falls in affection with Noah Solloway. The show that also stars Maura Tierney as well as Joshua Jackson was a hit with critics as well as viewers and earned Wilson the Golden Globe for Best Actress in an Television Series Drama in 2015. Wilson stated to British Vogue that she enjoyed being a character from both viewpoints. Noah sees Alison in this confident reckless sexy version of her. In addition to her horror credits, Wilson will also star in the British film adaptation to The Little Stranger. The supernatural thriller was inspired by an Sarah Waters' novel. Wilson is also executive producing the film.
